About Kelli
Kelli Short Borges is a writer with work published in The Tahoma Literary Review, Ghost Parachute, MoonPark Review, The Sunlight Press, and many more.
Kelli has always had a passion for reading, and was a reading specialist in the Arizona public school system for many years. Even so, she had never thought seriously about writing. But with a little encouragement from a great teacher and friend, she realized her passion for words extended beyond published books to getting her own stories on the page.
Since then, Kelli has written fiction and non-fiction, though flash, and its ability to contain so much story in the unsaid, has captured her heart.
Not only has Kelli's adventurous spirit led her through diverse creative pursuits, it has also taken her around the globe--hiking a glacier in the Washington Cascades, traveling to China to train in martial arts, and Flamenco dancing in Seville.
But she might be happiest relaxing at home with dessert and a good book.
